KeymasterHello
As the pro version of the Education Hub Theme has a wide range of color options, the background color option is set under the Basic Color options section.
The background color in the Education Hub Pro theme comes from your Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Color Options > Basic Color Options > background Color. Please check and verify that your desired color is set in the section.
If this does not resolve your issue, please provide us your Website URL so that we can inspect your website for the issue and suggest you with a possible fix.
Hope this Helps,
Best Regards !!

KeymasterHello @lindaje,
The icons / contents in the Services section in the front page comes from the “Clean Corporate : Services” widget set to the “Front Page Widget Area” in the theme.
To set / change the icons and content setting sin the section, please head to your Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Widgets > Front page widget Area > Clean Corporate : Services.
Here you can manage up-to eight blocks for the services including other settings. To change the icon for each individual block, you can set the Font Awesome icon class for your desired icon under Block # > icon.
You can also refer to the theme official documentation for further instructions with screenshots here : http://themepalace.com/theme-instructions/clean-corporate-pro/#Howtomanagethemeavailablewidgets?
for reference on font awesome icon classes, see the list of available icons here : http://fontawesome.io/icons/
Hope this helps,

KeymasterHello @PineapplePR,
You can decrease the height of the slider to make it smaller for the larger devices.
However, we would like to recommend you use the proper media query and CSS targeted specifically for larger screens as the CSS you are trying will run across regardless the screen size that might hamper the responsive layout of the theme.
Please use the following custom CSS targeted for the larger screens only to decrease the height of the slider only in the desktop screens without impact on other devices in your Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS :
@media only screen and (min-width: 1200px) { div#featured-slider { height: 400px!important; } #main-slider .cycle-caption { bottom: 43%; } #main-slider .cycle-prev, #main-slider .cycle-next { bottom: 42% } #main-slider .cycle-pager { bottom: 41% } }Hope this helps,
Best Regards !!

Keymaster@rich_miller86, the defined content width of the theme is 640.
This is how we define the content width by default in the theme.
Please refer https://codex.wordpress.org/Content_Width

Keymaster@giff7777, adding new category is as same as how you create for the post.
Refer official documentation: https://codex.wordpress.org/Manage_Categories_SubPanel
After creating a new category, you need to assign your notice posts to this new category.
This category would then display in dropdown list under “Notice Category” option.
Hope this helps !
