KeymasterWell, so at the moment there is no option available to hide / remove the blog posts section manually.
But it is possible through custom CSS which is quite not standard but yet works in this case.
Please refer this thread for the solution :

Hope this will work for your as well!

KeymasterHello @BaltimoreTom, you need to set up your homepage as Static Page from Customizer under Static Front Page section. Blog posts will then removed from homepage.
This way you will be able to setup your homepage through custom widget sections as well as through Appearance -> Customize section.
Hope this helps. Thanks

KeymasterHello @ivor
Assuming that you have already created social menu with linkedin custom link and set it to social menu from Menus / Manage Location section.
Now you need to go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Site Identity.
In this section you will see Enable Social Menu On Header option now you need to check this check-box to show social menu icon on Header.
Hope this will solve your issue.Let us know how it goes.
Regards!!!

KeymasterHello @edu_horse
We are glad to hear that you found the solution.
But as far as we know the In Layout Options there is Global Layout with Content- Primary Sidebar , Primary Sidebar – Content , etc options has nothing to do with the menu alignment if you are actually referring to the main-navigation menu just below site identity content.I think you were referring to to menu that you have kept in sidebar widget area. If you have kept that menu in sidebar widget area of course the changes made in Layout Options in Global Layout effect the alignment of widget according to the Layout that you have set.
Hope this will make you clear.
Let us know if any further confusion.Regards!!!
