    Hello,
I’m trying to create my own blog and I decided to use this theme. This is the first time I’m using WordPress, so I would like to report an issue I’m having, so to know if it’s a bug or if I’m doing something wrong.

Basically, I would like to add a News slider on top of the articles I publish. The slider I’m referring to is the one with “Super Bike/Cycling” visible on your demo website. I went to Aspect -> Widget and added MP: News Slider to Front Page Widget Area, but it doesn’t show up.
Am I doing anything wrong? The slider appears properly in the sidebars, instead.
Feel free to let me know if you need further informations, thank you.

    Hello @Uff,

On the first setup of the theme, to display the Slider widget as well as other widgets in the front page widget area you must first Create and set a static front page.

To do so please go to your Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Static Front Page and choose “A Static Page” option under “Front Page Displays” Setting.

You should now be able to setup and view the widgets in the front page including the slider you are referring to.

You can also go through the theme’s official documentation that provides detailed instructions on theme usage here : http://themepalace.com/theme-instructions/magazine-plus/

    Hope this Helps,

    Best Regards !!
