    Hello guys,

    I hope you are well. Thanks for all the support with your great theme so far.

    Previously, I asked for support in making menu items remain white for the current page a visitor is on. You guys gave me some additional CSS to use which worked great. However, since then I have added further items to the menu that are on lower tiers to the other items (page’s) in the menu. So, now when I am on a ‘deep’ page, the menu item remains white, but you cannot see the name of the navigation item for the current page you are on.

    Please see screenshot below:

    screen shot of secondary menu items not showing text in black

    Here is a copy of all the CSS I have used in the site to date:

    .main-navigation a {
    font-size: 14px;
    font-weight: 700;
    display: block;
    text-decoration: none;
    color: #333;
    text-transform: uppercase;
    font-family: ‘Montserrat’, sans-serif;
    }
    #masthead .main-navigation ul#primary-menu > li.current-menu-item > a, #masthead .main-navigation ul.nav-menu > li > a:hover, .main-navigation ul#primary-menu li:hover > a, .lite-version #masthead .main-navigation ul#primary-menu > li.current-menu-item > a, .lite-version #masthead .main-navigation ul.nav-menu > li > a:hover, .lite-version .main-navigation ul#primary-menu > li:hover > a, .lite-version #masthead .main-navigation ul#primary-menu ul > li.current-menu-item > a {
    color: #ffffff;
    }
    #masthead .main-navigation ul#primary-menu > li.current-menu-item > a, #masthead .main-navigation ul.nav-menu > li > a:hover, .main-navigation ul#primary-menu li:hover > a, .lite-version #masthead .main-navigation ul#primary-menu > li.current-menu-item > a, .lite-version #masthead .main-navigation ul.nav-menu > li > a:hover, .lite-version .main-navigation ul#primary-menu > li:hover > a, .lite-version #masthead .main-navigation ul#primary-menu ul > li.current-menu-item > a {
    color: #ffffff;
    }
    @media screen and (min-width: 1024px)
    @media screen and (max-width: 567px){
    .site-branding {
    display: flex;
    }
    .lite-version .main-navigation ul#primary-menu > li:hover > a {
    color: #600E3F;
    }
    .lite-version #masthead .main-navigation ul#primary-menu > li.current-menu-item > a {
    color: #ffffff;
    }

    ^^This is all CSS you have given me to get over other issues we resolved earlier in building this site. The only bit off CSS I added above was to make menu items bold (another requirement of my regulators – clear website navigation), all other CSS above you guys have given me previously to get over issues prior.

    Please can you let me know if there is any CSS that can be added/removed/updated to the site’s current additional CSS to allow menu item’s TEXT to remain black on menu items that are deeper within the menu as shown on the screenshot above^?

    Thanks for all of your great support so far and I look forward to using more of your themes and sharing them with colleagues in the industry who are looking for great themes, with great support teams behind them.

    Kind regards,

    Baz

    Hello,

    Regarding your query about the menu, you can add the CSS following the path Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS to make the menu visible even in the active page.

    .lite-version #masthead .main-navigation ul#primary-menu ul > li.current-menu-item > a {
        color: #600e3f;
        font-weight: bold;
    }

    Hope this helps.

    If you have further queries, kindly let us know.

    Regards

    Hello guys,

    Thanks for that added bit of CSS code, it has worked as intended.

    However, it has given me a new small issue. Regarding the top tiers of the menu, the ‘casino’ page and all other top tier menu items remain white on the MOBILE version of the menu. Which means it is white on white for mobile (a visitor cannot see which page they are on looking at the menu when on a top tier page), this is ok for desktop because you can see the top tier menu item when you are on a top tier page as it’s white menu item text on a dark background. Please see the following screenshot of desktop version which is OK…

    But on mobile, we added CSS earlier to stop logo overlapping (this post – here) so now, the mobile menu needs additional CSS to ensure that top tier menu items on mobile are not white text on white background for the page a visitor is on. Please can we make it purple text on white background for the mobile version of the menu top tier items?

    Please see the following screenshot for the mobile version which shows top tier menu items are white text on white background (the lower tiers are fine as they become purple text on a white background when a visitor is on 1 of those pages)…

    I am sure this is the final step to get all my regulator compliance complete, thank you so much for your support so far, I will be recommending you guys to fellow developers and site owners:)

    Thanks and kind regards,

    Baz

    Hello,

    When we inspected the issue in your site the menu is working fine as you can see in the screen record below:

    https://www.loom.com/share/9478e3440e8242beb96760857360cfb8

    The menu color is visible even in mobile version.

    So hope every thing is working fine.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your response.

    I didn’t explain the issue very well. In fact, it’s only the top tier menu items that go white. There are 3 tiers of menu items within the primary menu. Tier 2 and 3 remain purple text on white background on mobile which is good, however, the top tier (‘casino’, ‘live casino’ and promotions’ page’s) actually go white text on white background still.

    Please see this screenshot:

    video screen shot

    You can see the ‘casino’, ‘live casino’ and ‘promotions’ pages are white on white in the menu. Please can I have some CSS to make those items purple when a visitor is on the page?

    Thank you

    Hello @cambrubacklinks,

    The theme that you have used is not our theme so please contact the respective support forum for the issue.

    Thank you.
